Save a Pipe Assembly as a Library Component
Piping Design
You can also save a pipe assembly in the piping component library.
Note the following when saving an assembly model:
- The assembly model must have at least one handle. In practice this means that the assembly has at least one pipe or piping component. Position the assembly using its handle.
- The assembly model is saved in the piping component library (pipelibrary), if Pipe Assembly has been selected as a property of the assembly.
- If you add the subassembly under the main assembly with the function Create New Assembly, the property Create New Assembly, the property Pipe Assembly is selected by default. Pipe Assembly is selected by default.
Note:
  - You can edit the assembly properties before saving the pipe assembly as a library component. For example, you can select properties related to the creation of parts lists and assembly freezing.
