Edit the Item Data of the Assembly Parts
General
- You can only edit the item data of local parts in an assembly. Local parts include e.g. profiles, pipes and components retrieved from the library.
- You can also create a local part in an assembly yourself or change a link part to a local part, but their data will only appear in the list after you have first given them item data with the function Assembly | Tools | Item Data.
- The function is intended for mass editing of items in cases where a lot of local parts are used, in order to get the parts list as desired.
- You can edit the items of link parts and link subassemblies only in their own models.
- You can also view the items of link parts and link subassemblies in the assembly by selecting the part and context-sensitive function Item Data.
