Update an Individual View

This function can be used to update views created from the 3D model of a building, i.e. elevations, cross sections and perspective views, in the project document browser. After you have updated the view, you can add it to the drawing sheet. The views are generated from the drawing generation models, for example Elevations.vxm, Sections.vxm and Interior.vxm models. All models are generated from the 3D model of the building, but they include different elements.

1. Open the Architectural Documents branch in the document browser.
2. Open one of the following branches:
   • Elevations
   • Sections
   • Horizontal Sections
   • Interior Views
   • Perspective Views
3. Move the cursor over the view name.
4. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
5. Select Open and Update.
6. Select the settings in the dialog box.

The view is opened in a separate drawing window.
