Base height

This function is used to define the elevation of the lower edge of an inclined slope. When the 2D drawing is active, the elevation is typed in a text box. The elevation is typed in relation to the base elevation of the floor, which is usually the same as the level of the floor's top surface. In the 3D model, the elevation is defined by selecting a point or surface with the cursor or generic point snap functions. The next time the function for adding a horizontal structure is selected, the previously defined elevation becomes the default value for the lower edge elevation.

  1. Type the elevation of the edge in the 2D drawing or select the elevation in the 3D model.
