Add Corner Trims to a Single Corner

Architectural

  1. Select Modeling | Accessory Component | Component gallery Corner Trim.
  2. Click a corner.
  3. You can add a corner trim either only on the other side of the corner or on both sides. Select either of the following from the auxiliary menu:
  4. Select the cross section of the corner trim.
  5. You can select the length of the corner trims by clicking, define the corner trims to reach the roof, or select the default height defined in the project parameters for them. Select one of the following from the auxiliary menu.
  6. Define the height of the corner trims according to the selected method.
    • Select height: select the start and end point.
    • Stretch corner trims to roof: select start point and roof.
    • Default height: select the Confirm function.

Note

  • You can add corner trims of the same height to the next corner by clicking the corner and selecting the Confirm function.
  • You can add corner trims of the same height as the wall as follows:
    1. Select the function Select height from the auxiliary menu.
    2. Select the Confirm function without selecting the end points of the corner trim.
  • You can use the function REF to change the location of the corner trims in a perpendicular direction with relation to the wall surface. Define a different position by selecting the desired corner point location. You can use this function when the outer surfaces of the sidings of the bottom and top part of the wall are not on the same plane, for example.

  • You can also add corner trims to all corners at once, see Corner Trims to All Corners.
  • You can change the corner trims by defining a component change rule. Select components of the type Corner Trim to be changed. Alternatively, you can define the change operation of corner trims by using the component type Profile.
  • The object type of the corner trims is Eave and Wall Trims.
