Eave Shape 4

You can use the eave shape 4 to shape profiles which have already been notched with a wall, for example.

L = Notching line

h = Thickness

1. Select Modeling | Connection | Joint Profiles Connection Details. The browser is opened.
2. Select the Eave shapes folder in the browser.
3. Select Eave shape 4.
4. Select the start and end points of the notching line.

   

5. Select the profile ends to be shaped. Select the ends one by one or use area selection.

   

6. Select Confirm.
7. Select the parameters of the eave shape in the dialog box:
   • Measure point - The field displays the distance of the selected notching line (L) from the end of the profile.
   • Thickness - Select the thickness (h) of the profile on the eave from the list, or type a desired value in the text field.
   • Pitch. The fields display the pitch of the profile you selected as a ratio and in degrees.
8. Confirm by clicking OK.
