Notches

Select Modeling | Connection | Joint > Profiles Connection Details.
Select the folder Notch in the browser. The notches have been divided into sub folders according to the notching object. The notching object can be a wall, an I-beam or another profile. The notching can also be formed freely, without a notching object.
Select one of the following:

  - 0200 Beam Joint
  - 0202 Scarf Joint
  - 0400 Girt Joint
  - 0500 Longitudinal Cut by Face (Full-length)
  - 0501 Longitudinal Cut by Face (Selected Length)
  - 0502 Longitudinal Cut by Line

  - 0102 Log notch connection
  - 0103 Wall notch connection
  - 0104 Classic wall panel notch connection
  - 0105 Wall panel notch connection

Note:

You can edit the properties of a notch feature, see Edit a Feature.
You can delete a notch by selecting Profile | Feature | Delete.
You can delete the notching object, but keep the notch by selecting Modeling | Tools Delete Object But Keep Shaping.
You can delete a joint by selecting Disconnect from the context-sensitive menu of the profile's end grip point.
