Renumbering Panels

Framer

When generating panel breaks, the program adds labels to the panels and numbers them, starting from the number typed. You can renumber the panels of a certain wall type.

  1. Select Classic Wall Framing | Wall Panelizing | Edit Panel Renumber Wall Panels.
  2. Type the first new number in a text box.
  3. Select the panel to obtain the number typed. Select the panel by clicking its label or center line.
  4. Select the other panels in the order in which they are to be numbered. The numbers of the panels are displayed in the status bar.
  5. Select Confirm. The program will number the selected panels using the numbers you typed.
  6. In case there are panels of the same type, i.e. panels with the same label and same number on the floor plan drawing, the program will highlight these on the drawing. In this case, select one of the following in a dialog box:
    • Continue - You can continue selecting panels to renumber until all panels have a unique label.
    • Restart - You can start renumbering from the start by entering the first new number and selecting the panel to obtain the number typed.
    • Quit - Stop renumbering the panels and continue using the original numbers instead. In case an error occurs, select either the CONTINUE, RESTART or QUIT option.
