Batch Transfer of Projects to the DesignStream System

DesignStream Interface

When you start using the DesignStream design archive, you can transfer several projects from a local archive to the DesignStream system simultaneously. The projects are transferred to the DesignStream system as contract projects. The projects retain their existing labels. Transferred projects will be removed from the local project archive.

  1. Select Archives | Buildings | Export > Check-In Projects to DesignStream.
  2. Select the projects to be transferred from a list.

  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
  • You can only transfer projects to the DesignStream system if they are not there already.
  • Projects are transferred one by one as a batch run. If a project transfer is interrupted, the event will be logged and the next project will be transferred.
  • The preview image for the system is created from either the preview.jpg file or the model3d.bmp file.
  • The transfer is logged in the DSTRANSFER.LOG file in the user folder.
