Create a New Material and Define Its Shading Properties

Rendering

You can define a new material as follows:

  1. Select System | Rendering Textures. The browser is opened.
  2. Select My Library.
  3. Select a folder in which to add a material, or create a new folder, if necessary.
    1. Right-click to open the function menu.
    2. Select New Folder.
    3. Enter a name for the new folder.
    4. Select the folder you have just created.
  4. Move the cursor to an empty area in the right browser frame (thumbnail area).
  5. Right-click to open the function menu, and select New Material.
  6. Name the new material and select the shading properties in a dialog box.

  7. Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
  • System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
  • The default folder in the browser has been defined with the keyword lw_mtrl_folder in the system settings.
