Polygon

  1. Select Sketch | Lines | N-gon. More options...Less options...
    • (OR) Select the context-sensitive function Line >  N-gon.
  2. Define the polygon data to the dialog box:
    • Regular Polygon
      • Free draw - Select the polygon's center point and diameter.
        • Number of Sides
      • Inner / Outer diameter - Select the polygon's center point and rotation.
        • Number of Sides
        • Side Length - If you enter the side length, the diameter is calculated automatically based on it.
        • Diameter - If you enter the diameter, the side length is calculated automatically based on it.
      • Automatic Constraints
      • Draw help circle
  3. Select the polygon's center point.
  4. Finish the polygon by selecting one of its corner points.
  5. Draw more polygons by repeating steps 3 and 4 or finish drawing polygons by pressing the ESC key or the middle mouse button.
    • If you want to draw more polygons with different parameters, finish drawing polygons and repeat steps 1-4.
