Rounded Rectangle

  1. Select Sketch | Lines | Rounded Rectangle. More options...Less options...
    • (OR) Select the context-sensitive function Line Rounded Rectangle.
  2. Set the value of the corner’s radius by entering it in the field Value.
    • If you want to manage the radius’s value with a formula, enter the formula into the Equation field. Do not remove the numerical value from the Value field.
  3. You can add automatic guide curves from corner to corner or from middle to middle. Select No helplines, Helplines from corner to corner or Helplines from side to side.
    Note: The helplines of a rounded rectangle are added from the center point of a corner to the opposite center point.
  4. Select the center point of the rounded rectangle.
  5. Finish the rounded rectangle by selecting its corner point.
  6. Draw more rounded rectangles by repeating steps 3 and 4 or finish drawing rounded rectangles by pressing the ESC key or the middle mouse button.
    • If you want to draw more rounded rectangles with different round radii, finish drawing rounded rectangles and repeat steps 1-5.
