Concatenate Lines

Concatenate a line chain as a single line. You can also concatenate lines with no common end points. The program will connect the lines by adding a line between them.

You can select polylines and arcs as lines to be concatenated. You can use snap functions when pointing the line chain.

  1. Select Drafting | Line Tools | Explode Concatenated Line > Concatenate Lines.
  2. Select the search function of a line chain.

    Search Limits

  3. Select the lines to be concatenated.
  4. Select Confirm.

When pointing the lines one by one, click them in the order in which you wish them to be concatenated.

Note:
  • Modify the concatenated line using its grip points.
  • Coincident constraints will not be created for the points of the concatenated line (2D Constraint Manager).
