Fix a Line or Point in a Sketch (3D)

The fixed line can be any layer sketch line or the 3D sketch line, like rotation axes, auxiliary, or the steering line.

When geometric constraints are solved, the fixed line retains its position. The fixed line is highlighted in blue color, like the geometric constraint.

The line and its point can be fixed separately. The Line / Point is fix to the position in which it is located when the function is selected.

Fixing a Line in the Sketch

1. Select a single or several lines.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Press the F key.
   • Select the context-sensitive function Fix.
