Save a Stair

You can select stair parameters in the Stair Generator and save them into an XML file as follows:

1. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
2. Select Stair Tool. The Stair Generator dialog box opens.
3. Select the stair type and parameters in the Stair Generator dialog box.

4. Click the Save button. The Windows dialog box Save As opens. The default folder is ../shared/picts, in which the stairs provided by the software supplier are saved.
5. If necessary, select another folder.
6. Name the file. Type the name without a file extension in the File name field.
7. Click Save.

• You can save the parameters you have selected as the default parameters of the stair type in question by clicking the Save defaults button.
