Designing a Stair with the Stair Tool

You can use the Stair Tool to design stairs from the parts in the stair library: steps, strings and railings. You can select different start and middle balusters for railings. A stair is an assembly comprising different parts.

  1. Do either of the following:
    • Select Modeling | Accessory Component | Component gallery Stair.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Stair Tool.
  2. Select the stair type and parameters in the Stair Generator dialog box.
