Deleting an Excavation

Delete an excavation added to a terrain by selecting its edge line and pressing the Delete key. The edge line will also be deleted from the drawing.

If you want to delete the excavation, but keep the edge line, do as follows:

1. Select the edge line.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Advanced > Explode into Geometry. You will be prompted: "Are you sure you want to explode?""
4. Select Yes. The excavation will be deleted from the terrain model, but the polyline will remain in the drawing.
