Add a Part Number Between Others

General

• This function is only available for independent drawings made by drawing.
• Sometimes there is a need to add a new part to the drawing and give it a number that has already been assigned to another part.
• This function allows you to add a new part number between the old part numbers, so that the part data stored for the previous part numbers is preserved by the part numbers that change their number.

Add a Part Number Between Part Numbers

1. Select Drawing | Mechanical | Parts List > Part Number Between Other Parts.
2. In the drawing, click the part number that the number to be inserted between will get (A in the figure).
3. Click the starting point of the reference line of the part number (B in the figure).
4. Click the location of the part number (C in the figure).
5. Add new part numbers in between by repeating steps 2...4.
6. Stop adding part numbers in between
   • Select another function or
   • Press the middle mouse button or
   • Press the V key (= Confirm) or
   • Press the Esc key or
   • Select the context-sensitive function OK.
