Import a Sheet from Another Project

You can import drawing sheets from another project to the active project. The selected sheets are copied to the view_sheets folder of the target project, and they are displayed in the project's document browser. If additional information has been defined for the sheet with the function Active Document Data, the row in question is also copied from the source project's FILEINFO database to the database in the target project.

The views added to the drawing sheet as reference drawings must have the same names in both projects. A reference to a drawing outside the project is also copied if the reference is an absolute path.

  1. Open the Architectural Documents branch in the project's document browser.
  2. Move the cursor on the title Sheets.
  3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  4. Select Import Sheet From Another Project.
  5. Select the project and click OK.
  6. Select the file name of the drawing sheet from a list. Press and hold the Ctrl key to select several sheets.
  7. Confirm by clicking OK.

After this, you can open the sheet from the project's document browser. If necessary, first update the views on the sheet and their drawing generation models.
