Change a Pipe or Duct Component

You can change a component to another component of the same type. The new component will be automatically positioned similarly to the old one, keeping the grip point linkages. Select a correct code for the component from the toolbar.

1. Double-click a component in the drawing or in the model.
2. Select either of the following:
   • Piping | Component | Change.
   • Piping | Component | Change.

   The browser is opened.

3. Select a component. You can only select a component of the same type from the component library.
4. Edit the properties on the Piping tab, in the Properties group.

5. Rotate or mirror the component, if necessary. If necessary, rotate the component in the model Activate the model window by pressing the F2 key. Return to the drawing window by pressing the F2 key again.

   Enter the Rotation Angle around the Z Axis

   Indicate the Rotation Angle around the Z Axis in a Model

   Restore Original Position

6. Select Confirm.
