Save a Machined Part as a File
General
- The machined part can be saved as a file in the selected folder.
- When saving, the feature history of the part is deleted.
- You can select the function Save Machined as New... after executing the machining features.
- Note that saving does not offer the possibility to save the model to the archive. If you want to save the worked model in the archive as well, first save it in a directory, drag it from there to the Vertex desktop, and then save it as a new document.
Save a Machined Part as a File
- Select the machined part of the assembly to save.
- Select the the context-sensitive function .
- Select a directory and name the file.
- Select Save.
Note:
- Part saved this way has no connection to the assembly.
- If you want to machine the original part in the model archive, use the function Boolean.
