00021 I Beam Connection

  1. Select Modeling | Connection | Joint > Connection Details.
  2. Select the folder Notch / I-beam in the browser.
  3. Select 00021 I-beam connection.
  4. Select the notch parameters in the I Beam Connection dialog box:
    • Max notch depth (d1)
    • Notch depth + (d2)
    • Notch height + (h2)
    • Chamfer dimension (b)
  5. Confirm by clicking OK.
  6. Select the I-beam (A).
  7. Select the profile ends (B). Select the profiles one by one or use area selection.
  8. Select Confirm.
  9. If necessary, delete the existing connection by selecting Delete in a message box.
