Copy a Constraint into another Configuration
Usage examples
- When there are several configurations in an assembly where the dimension (distance or angle) must change as the configuration changes.
- Copying is faster than adding a dimension or angle constraint separately for each configuration.
Copy a Constraint to another Configuration
- From beneath the assembly tree, select the constraint you wish to copy.
- Select the context-sensitive function Copy.
- The program opens a dialog box: Edit the constraint.
- Edit the dimension value in the Edit Constraint dialog box.
- The dimension affects those configurations in which the constraint is copied.
- In the Edit Constraint dialog box, select the configurations in which you wish the copied constraint to be enabled.
- Select OK.
