Copy Lines to a 3D Sketch

General

• You can copy lines from the previous geometry of the part into the 3D sketch.
• You can also copy lines from another part in the same assembly to the 3D sketch.
• When copying the lines get the Identical constraint with the original lines. If the original geometry changes, the lines change in the sketch.

Copy lines from the previous geometry of the part

1. Select 3D Sketch | Line Tools | Copy Lines or
   • select the context-sensitive function Line > Copy to 3d Sketch.
2. Select the lines from the previous geometry of the part or another part that you want to copy to the sketch.
3. Complete the copying with the Confirm function
   • Press the middle mouse button or
   • press the V key.
