Plane Sketch

Model the part to the sketch based features. To model the part model draw the sketches in the modeling different phases.

• By the sketch based feature you can create the rough shape. The part shape sharpen by the sketch based features.
• Add the new sketch to the to default plane, plane, part face, line, free to the three point formed plane, or to the line and point defined layer.
• A guide curve, modeled as a 3d sketch, drawn on different planes can be a part in an assembly.

Add the New Layer Sketch

You can add a new sketch in several different ways.

To default plane

1. Select Part | Sketch | To Face or line >  To horizontal (XY) plane / To vertical (XZ) plane / To lateral (YZ) plane.

To plane

1. Select the plane in the model window.
2. Select the context-sensitive function New Sketch.

To face or line

1. Select Part | Sketch | To Face or line.
2. Select the face or line to which you want to sketch.

To user-specified plane

1. Select three points, or a point and a line, or a point and a planar face.
2. Select the context-sensitive function New Sketch.
