Calculate Missing Values of the Bend Deduction Table

You can calculate the missing halves of bend deductions in the bend deduction table. To calculate the missing values, you will first need a half of the bend deduction of a 90 degree bend. Determine it experimentally or read it from the machine manufacturer's table, if one has been provided. Calculate missing values as follows:

1. Select System | Databases | Bend Deduction Table. More options...Less options...
   • (OR) Select System | Databases | Application > Bend Deduction Table
2. Select the Material and Thickness, or add a new Material/Thickness pair.
3. Add a new row to the table and enter the Die width V and Punch radius or edit an existing row.
4. Enter a half of the bend deduction for a 90 degree bend onto the row.
5. Select Calculate. The program will calculate the missing halves of bend deductions on the row.
6. If necessary, repeat steps 2-5 to calculate more values.
7. Select OK.
