Edit Feature Data

The feature to be edited can be a feature based on a sketch or a feature used to edit a part. The properties of a feature used to edit a part include rounding radius, draft angle and the elements selected from the part, based on which the feature is modeled.

When the feature is based on a sketch, you can define the new data in the dialog box. By clicking Cancel in the dialog box, you can select the operation to be performed on the sketch again, and then define the data.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select a face formed by a feature, then select the context-sensitive Edit Sketch function.
    • Double-click a face formed by the feature.
    • Select a feature from the feature tree of the part, then select the context-sensitive function Edit Feature.
  2. Define the new feature data in the dialog box.
  3. You can view and edit the element selections, based on which the feature is modeled, in the data of the feature used to edit the part.
    • Select an element from the list. It will be highlighted in the part.
    • Click the Add button and select one or more elements from the part. Accept the selected elements by selecting the Confirm function.
    • Change an incorrect element by first selecting the element from the list, then click the Change button and select a new element.
    • Delete an element by first selecting the element from the list and then click the Delete button.
  4. Click OK.
Note:
  • Rounding and bevel data is edited, and the related elements selected, differently than described above.
