Add a Radius Constraint
General
- A radius constraint can be added to a circle and arc.
- A radius constraint can be added to several circles and arcs at once.
Add a radius constraint to a 3D sketch
- Select 3D Sketch | Constraints | Add radius constraint or
- select the context-sensitive function Constraints > Radius
- Select a circle or an arc.
- Click the position of the dimension.
- The program opens the dialog box Edit Constraint.
- Edit the data in the Edit Constraint dialog box.
- Edit Constraint.
- At least check the value of the dimension.
- Add a formula, if you want to control the geometry with a dimension table.
- Select OK.
- Repeat steps 2 to 5 to add new radius constraints
- Stop adding radius constraints
- Select another function or
- press the V key or
- press the Esc key or
- click the middle mouse button.
Add a radius constraint to multiple circles or arcs at the same time
- Select the circles and arcs that you want to set the radius constraint to.
- Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the elements.
- Select the following contextual function: Constraints > Radius.
- Continue as above steps 3...5.
