Round Two Sketch Lines

General

  • You can add a rounding between two lines. The lines must not be parallel.
  • If necessary, the program extends or cuts the lines to be rounded from their intersection and adds a rounding.
  • The program automatically adds radius constraints according to rounding.

Add a rounding between two lines

  1. Select Sketch | Line Tools | Round.
  2. Select the lines whose intersection point will be rounded.
    • The program asks for the rounding radius.
  3. Enter the rounding radius value.
    • If you want to manage the radius’s value with a formula, enter the formula into the Equation field. Do not remove the numerical value from the Value field.
  4. Select OK.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to draw more roundings
  6. Stop adding roundings
    • Select another function or
    • Press the V key or
    • Press the Esc key or
    • Click the middle mouse button.

Round the selected corner points

  1. Click the corner points to be rounded
    • Press the Ctrl key to select multiple corner points.
  2. Select the following contextual function: Round
    • The program suggests an earlier rounding radius and draws the rounding.
  3. Enter the rounding radius value or accept the value proposed by the program.
  4. OK.
    • The program adds a radius constraint to one rounding and the equal radius constraint to the other roundings.
