Round Two Sketch Lines
General
- You can add a rounding between two lines. The lines must not be parallel.
- If necessary, the program extends or cuts the lines to be rounded from their intersection and adds a rounding.
- The program automatically adds radius constraints according to rounding.
Add a rounding between two lines
- Select Sketch | Line Tools | Round.
- Select the lines whose intersection point will be rounded.
- The program asks for the rounding radius.
- Enter the rounding radius value.
- If you want to manage the radius’s value with a formula, enter the formula into the Equation field. Do not remove the numerical value from the Value field.
- Select OK.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 to draw more roundings
- Stop adding roundings
- Select another function or
- Press the V key or
- Press the Esc key or
- Click the middle mouse button.
Round the selected corner points
- Click the corner points to be rounded
- Press the Ctrl key to select multiple corner points.
- Select the following contextual function: Round
- The program suggests an earlier rounding radius and draws the rounding.
- Enter the rounding radius value or accept the value proposed by the program.
- OK.
- The program adds a radius constraint to one rounding and the equal radius constraint to the other roundings.
