Sheet-Metal Design
General
- The dialog box is related to the Tangential Offset function.

Dialog box options
- Value
- Defines the sheet thickness value.
- Formula
- Defines the sheet thickness as a variable.
- Enter a variable label to control the thickness of the part using a dimension table.
- In
- Adds the sheet on the inside of the chain of faces.
- Middle
- The selected face is a middle plane, and the sheet thickness will be divided symmetrically inside and outside plane.
- Out
- Adds the sheet on the outside of the chain of faces.
- Change to sheet metal part
- As a type of a sheet-metal volume created from a tangential shelling will be set Sheet-Metal Part, if the check box is selected.
- Material
- You can select the material of the sheet metal part, if you selected Change to sheet metal part. Using the Select button you can select the sheet thickness, density, color and bend allowance. The Material of the Sheet Metal Part
- Elements
- A list of the selected surfaces and lines.
- Add
- Add new surfaces or lines defining cutting points, if needed.
- Select Add.
- Click the surface you want to add to the surface chain or the line you want to cut.
- Change
- Change the surface/line to another surface, if necessary.
- Select the surface/line to be changed.
- Select Change.
- Click the replacing element.
- Delete
- If necessary, remove a surface or line.
- Select the surface or line to be removed.
- Select Delete or press the Delete key.
- Apply
- You can see what the part would look like if you accepted the values and options you entered.
- You can change the values and options.
