Face Intersection Data

Defines the feature properties, such as the faces selected for calculating the intersection and the deletion of the selected faces. Specify the feature data in the dialog box.

Face1, Face2, etc.

A list of the faces based on which the intersection is calculated. At least two intersecting faces must be selected for calculating an intersection. You can view and edit the selections before confirming the data.

Delete selected surfaces

Deletes the faces selected for the calculation and leaves only the intersection visible. If this function is not selected, the faces selected for the calculation remain visible.

Faces belonging to sections or planes are not deleted. If you try to delete these faces, the calculation of the intersection will be interrupted, and the program will display an error message.

When Delete selected surfaces is selected, the intersection (A) will remain. The background of the sample figure shows the reference geometry (B) of the assembly. If this function is not selected, the faces remain visible (C).
