Move and Rotate the Entire Geometry of a Part
General
- You can move and rotate a part so that the part and its origin (insertion point) will be in a desired position.
- Moving and rotating a part is most often needed when a part has been imported from another system to get it in the right position for Vertex.
- A part modeled in Vertex can also be moved and rotated.
- The move of a part becomes its own feature in the history tree of the part, which can be edited later.
Move and rotate a part
- Start moving a part:
- Select Part | Tools | Move or
- Select Import | Tools | Move or
