Add a Concentricity Constraint
General
- A concentricity constraint can be added to circles, arcs and points.
- In sketch geometry, the symbol for the concentricity constraint is two nested circles .
- You can use the F9 key to show and hide the symbols of the constraints.
Add a concentricity constraint in a plane sketch
- Select the function Sketch | Constraints | Add concentricity constraint.
- Click the first circle, arc or point.
- This circle or arc shall will remain in place unless the element shown below is bound in place with constraints.
- Click the second circle, arc or point.
- This circle, arc or point will move so that it is concentric with the first circle, arc or point.
- If the last-clicked element is locked in place with constraints, the first-clicked element will move so that it is concentric with the second circle, arc or point.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add new concentricity constraints
- Stop adding concentricity constraints
- Select another function or
- press the V key or
- press the Esc key or
- click the middle mouse button.
