Construction Circle

General

• The construction circle will only be displayed in the sketching mode of part modeling.
• You can also draw a construction circle as a regular circle when you select Constr line in the Style group.
• In the context-sensitive menu, you can find the function Construction Circle that draws a circle with the construction line style.
• If you point the center of the construction circle from the origin of the sketch, the endpoint of a line, or the center of another circle, the program automatically adds a concentric condition to the construction circle with the above element.

Sketch a construction circle using the context-sensitive function

1. Select the context-sensitive function Circle > Construction Circle.
2. Click a center point.
3. Click the radius point.
   • Instead of clicking the location of the radius point, you can enter the radius of the construction circle from the keyboard, which automatically adds a diameter constraint to the circle.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 to continue sketching construction circles.
5. Stop sketching construction circles
   • Select another function or
   • Press the middle mouse button or
   • Press the Esc key or
   • Press the V key (V = Confirm).
