Examine Points on a Spline Curve

You can fix or release a spline curve’s control points.

  1. Select Snap to Line from the toolbar.

  2. Position the cursor over the curve, and move it in the direction of the curve. When the cursor hits a control point on the curve, you will see a green point (Free).

  3. If you select the spline curve, its color will change.

  4. Move the cursor in the direction of the spline curve.

The control points will be shown on the curve, even if you have not selected the curve and have instead selected the line addition function and moved the cursor on the spline curve. The control point color indicates the status of the point.
